Mandatory 2x per month in the Perrysburg, OH office occurring on the first and third Tuesdays of the month. Infrequent and scheduled additional office days may be required as specified by role manager (training days etc.)This position is accountable for supporting the procurement of raw materials (including sourcing, contract management, cost savings, etc.) to ensure best practice and best total cost of ownership for North America.  This role will support the procurement of raw materials and cullet totaling ~$300M for the 18 plants in North America.Also, you will: Develop and execute strategic sourcing activities.Support Procurement Manager(s) with RFI / RFP / RFQ activities for new and existing requirements and provide bid analysis (quotations, spend, cost, payment terms/methods, etc.)Support the development and execution of strategic sourcing activities for raw materials and cullet, leveraging industry best practices, commodity experience, sourcing methodology and global partnerships whenever possible.Negotiate vendor contracts in compliance with legal standards and business requirements.Review vendor performance to ensure contract adherence and drive continuous improvements.Analyze, develop, and implement commodity initiatives / projects to drive savings.Participate in and / or lead special projects as required.Travel Requirements  Negligible travel <10% QualificationsQualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or related-areaMinimum 5-7 years of relevant procurement and strategic sourcing experience w/raw materialsStrong written and verbal communication skillsWorking experience with SAP or other ERP system strongly preferredWorking experience with Ivalua or other procurement management system strongly preferredStrong analytical skills, highly proficient in Excel and PowerPointAdditional InformationWhat we offer:US Salary Range:  The expected salary range for this position is between $73,000-$90,000.
