The Position:
The Automotive Product Specialist rely on their customer service skills and automotive knowledge to perform their job duties. They assist O'Reilly Store and Jobber account team members needing application support or product assistance. Automotive Product Specialists use internal and external resources to provide accurate and thorough information and are expected to uphold a professional attitude and friendly demeanor at all times.
What you will do in this position:
- Assist store personnel and jobbers with merchandise questions and auto parts look up.
- Use internal and online resources to assist stores and jobbers with accurate and thorough product information.
- Establish and maintain good team member relationships.
- Maintain various catalog racks, reference library, breakdown binders, etc.
- Assist the Special Orders department in various areas of the Factory Order process.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the department manager or supervisor as needed.
Qualifications we would like to see:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Automotive parts, equipment and systems knowledge.
- Basic computer navigation and internet skills.
- Two years O'Reilly store or similar retail experience desired
- ASE Parts or Technician certification desired.
- Bilingual, English/Spanish, desired
**Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a drug test and/or MVR check, as applicable for the role.
