Summary

As a national wholesaler, O’Rourke Sales Company is the liaison between vendor and dealer partners. The Marketing Director is responsible for the development, promotion and implementation of marketing initiatives, programs and materials received from the executive, purchasing and sales teams. This position reports to the leadership team and is supported by two marketing assistants. The marketing director candidate should be well versed in project/time management, Microsoft Office, Corel Draw and/or Adobe graphics suites.

Responsibilities:

• Design, promote, enhance and implement marketing programs and products which include catalogs, flyers, social media, sales presentations, PIM (product information management) and websites. Implement a consistent marketing message across all print and electronic communications.
• Work with the buyers and leadership teams to co-ordinate appropriate marketing materials promoting the pricing and programs of our vendor partners. These items include price sheets, presentations, product brochures, sales flyers, social media posts and website updates to drive bottom line growth.
• Manage the performance of the entire marketing team to create, maintain and post our social media and website.
• Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments while working on potentially short deadlines.
• Support the sales team by posting and printing sales and marketing materials
• Enforce company policies and company culture. Maintain high ethical standards within the department.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Sales or Marketing
• 4 - 8 years of related experience, preferably in a consumer goods environment
• Design software experience required, preferably Corel Draw Graphics Suite

Job Qualifications

• Effective verbal and written communication skills to effectively gather and present information
• Ability to define problems, collect data and hit deadlines
• Take initiative and problem solve, both individually and as a marketing team
• Microsoft Office Suite - with an emphasis on Excel
• Corel Draw and/or Adobe Graphic Suites

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $72,000.00 per year
