Job Title: Diesel Mechanic/Maintenance Technician

Employee Type: Hourly/Non-Exempt

Reports to: Lead Mechanic

Schedule: Monday-Friday Day Shift (may include overtime such as weekends and evenings)

Location: Illini Environmental-Caseyville, Illinois

Summary

Illini Environmental, Inc. is currently seeking highly motivated Diesel Mechanic/Maintenance Technician looking to work for a progressive, fast-growing company. Illini Environmental, Inc. has invested in new equipment and technology to ensure our Team members have the best tools available to serve our customers. Duties will include assisting Head Mechanic in fluid changes, tire changes and other duties as assigned. Will also perform general building maintenance.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies and processes and always acting in a safe manner.
• Perform oil changes.
• Perform tire changes.
• Assist Head Mechanic in major repairs.
• Perform General Building Maintenance.
• Climate Controlled Shop environment

Required Skills/Abilities

• Safety oriented mindset with the determination to follow all procedures and policies.
• Ability to work well in a team environment critical.

Education and Experience

Minimum of 1-year Mechanical Experience
