The PRNN Program Assistant is responsible for general administrative duties including working with community partners, residents of Park Forest and Richton Park, PRNN’S Resident Advisory Board (RAB), PRNN’S Steering Committee, PRNN’s Network Organizer and program staff.
The Program Assistant will support the mission of PRNN and provide program and database support for Transforming Places grant reporting.

How To Apply?

Key areas of responsibility :
Field phone calls and emails requesting information about PRNN and PRNN events. Encourage attendance as appropriate, and invite potential new partners to the appropriate meetings.
Work collaboratively with program staff to promote the visibility of our Network. This will include keeping current with social media posts, reviewing promotional materials / flyers for consistent branding and working closely with the Media / Marketing subcommittee.
Assist Network Organizer with meeting preparation. This will include room set up, purchasing / picking up catering, purchasing gift cards, and assisting with stipend distribution.
Assist Network Organizer with developing and / or maintaining existing filing system for PRNN related information.
Order program related equipment, materials and supplies upon request and maintain receipts.
Prepare agendas, sign in sheets, stipend distribution forms and voucher requests, formal documents, and letters, as needed for compliance with funding agency directives.
Assist Network Organizer with programmatic support in areas of office procedures for the PRNN Resource Room, communication systems (Constant Contact), and document design and delivery.
Attend PRNN meetings and department meetings; take minutes, as required.
Assist in developing / coordinating PRNN
Be available outside of normal working hours for PRNN related events and Resident Advisory Board meetings.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalency; some college preferred
Strong oral and written skills
Self-starter with excellent organization skills
Proficient in use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and data management software
Team player who can also work well independently
Interest in social media / marketing is a plus
Park Forest or Richton Park resident is a plus
Access to a vehicle during working hours
