What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Teacher position at Oak and Lily Academy?
We are looking for a Lead Teacher in our older 2's class. The Lead Teacher in this class is responsible for weekly lesson plans to include age appropriate activities, circle time, center time and art centers. The Lead Teacher will manage 2 - 3 assistants in the classroom. This position reports directly to our staff supervisor
Duties
Weekly lesson plans
Managing classroom staff
Interacting with students
Following schedules
Light clean up
Preparing food
Communicating with parents
Potty Training
Requirements
High school diploma
Punctuality
Able to pass background checks
Reliable transportation
At least 2 years of Preschool classroom experience
