Job Description : To supervise member's children and grandchildren while providing them with fun, educational and interactive programming.

Job Requirements :
Shows interest in interacting with children.
Serves as a role model for children.
Supervises children's play activities.
Gives each child individual attention and guidance to help them build self-esteem and foster a sense of independence.
Help teach children to share and work in groups.
Firmly but fairly discipline children, and aid them in learning better behavior when necessary.
Reads and plays with children.
Helps plan crafts, games and other children's activities.
Resolves conflict between children.
Helps keep room clean, safe and organized.
Orders food and beverage for children; ensures that members are billed for all items.
Interacts with other departments to promote programs.
Attends staff meetings.
Completes other appropriate tasks as assigned by the Camp Director.
Performs other appropriate tasks assigned by the Camp Director.
Physical Requirements :
Must be able to continuously sit, stand and walk a minimum of 8 hours.
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and perform strenuous work lifting.
Must be able to bend, kneel, push and pull over the course of a shift.
All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per Oak Hill's appearance standards.
Will be required to perform job functions outdoors and be exposed to sun, heat, humidity and other elements.
Must be able to work a flexible shift that includes early mornings, nights, weekends, holidays, split shifts, and extended shifts.
Must be 18 years of age.
Must have a reliable form of transportation to and from work.
Qualifications : Experience :
Experience :
Club, luxury resort or other hospitality industry experience preferred.
Experience as a child care provider in a pre-school or before-and-after school setting preferred.
Education :
High school or equivalent education required.
Associate's degree in Early Childhood Development, Applied Psychology or Elementary Education preferred.
Licenses & Certificates :
Child Development Associate credential or Child Care Professional credential desirable.
Child CPR / AED certification required.
Ability to obtain and / or maintain any government required licenses, certificates or permits.
Valid driver's license.
