Overview:
We are seeking a Multi-Craft Supervisor who will serve as a member of the team in support of maintenance activities at the High Flux Isotope Reactor and associated conventional facilities. The supervisor will receive direction from the HFIR Maintenance Group Leader. This position resides in the RRD Maintenance Group in the Research Reactors Division, Neutron Sciences Directorate at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL).
In this position you will direct maintenance activities performed by electricians, millwrights, pipefitters, carpenters, and laborers for facilities at ORNL. Craft Supervisors coordinate, plan, and schedule the work of others in maintaining and operating ORNL facilities. They team with craft workers and other support personnel in task preparation and planning to ensure that work is conducted in a safe, secure, compliant, and efficient manner. Craft Supervisors work closely with building occupants to ensure that the facility maintenance and service needs of research and support organizations are met promptly and cost effectively.

This position is a Workplace Substance Abuse program (WSAP) testing designed position which requires passing a
pre-placement drug test and participation in an ongoing random drug testing program in which employees are subject to
being randomly selected for testing. The occupant of this position will also be subject to an ongoing requirement to report to ORNL any drug-related arrest or conviction or receipt of a positive drug test result.
Physical Requirements: Work involves various physical requirements and working conditions. As such, a pre-hire physical will be required after offer.
Export control, no clearance: This position requires access to technology that is subject to export control requirements. Successful candidates must be qualified for such access without an export control license.
HSPD-12 PIV badge: This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain an HSPD-12 PIV badge.
