Jira Admin
Location – New York City, NY (On-site)
Duration- 12 months
Job Description:
- Full knowledge and understanding of the features and functionality of Jira Service Desk and/or Jira Data Center.
- Understanding business requirements from different business units to build technical solution to support those requirements.
- Exp. and understanding around requirements for business processes, and how to determine ways to optimize/improve JIRA setup and workflows, as well as identify where functionality can/cannot meet user requests.
- Create comprehensive JIRA workflows including project workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, notification schemes etc.
- Build customized solutions to extend the functionality of Atlassian JIRA using third party add-ons including Script Runner, JIRA Automation, Structure, Time to SLA, Slack Connector for JIRA, JIRA MISC Workflow extension, JIRA Toolkit, Botron configuration management.
- Setup reports, dashboards, and filters in JIRA
- Create development / testing version of Jira to test new workflows and modifications to existing workflows.
- Demonstrated hands on knowledge of JQL/SQL
- Schedule and coordinate maintenance for critical systems.
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Be the initial support tier for JIRA Service Desk and Confluence
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working with the Atlassian product suite, with specific focus on JIRA Service Desk and Confluence.
- Familiarity with hands-on experience using JIRA REST APIs for integration with other tools.
- Energetic and ability to work in a fast-changing dynamic agile environment, strong work ethic with good time management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant domain is required, or master’s level degree preferred.
