The Director of Finance is a member of the senior leadership team for Oak View Group (OVG) at CFG Bank Arena. We are looking for a proactive, driven, and collaborative professional who will be responsible for providing leadership and oversight to the financial infrastructure and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.

This role will pay a salary of $132,000 and is bonus eligible.

This position will remain open until Dec 31, 2024.

  • Assists in the development and implementation of facility goals and priorities relating to financial management, budget, accounting, purchasing, and/or payroll in compliance with State and Federal law, and policies and procedures.
  • Monitors compliance with all provisions of the management contract.
  • Maintains contact with Risk Management Department and Insurance broker for coordination of appropriate coverage.
  • Reviews all contracts for client, events, subcontractors, food and beverage or concessionaires.
  • Reviews and/or prepares event settlements.
  • Reviews and executes all checks and deposits; reviews daily cash receipts and disbursements.
  • Oversee box office, ticket sale receipts and reporting
  • Oversee food and beverage accounting
  • Assist with show settlement including payments to promoters, compile all post-show financial info to enter into GL, prepare show income/loss reports
  • Oversee payroll and HR functions in the venue.
  • Prepare appropriate state and local tax returns to be filed timely
  • Prepares financial statements for the Client and Corporate, and other financial reports, including monthly statements, Annual Budget and Annual Report.
  • Directs the installation and maintenance of accounting records to show receipts and expenditures.
  • Directs the maintenance of general and subsidiary ledgers, accounts receivable, revenue distribution, depreciation, cost, property, and operating expenses, and insurance records.
  • Analyzes financial performance and cost analyses for all departments; prepares monthly financial statements, recommends appropriate actions/changes in order to meet business goals.
  • Prepares statements and reports of estimated future costs and revenues.
  • Coordinates preparation of Client or external audit materials and financial reporting; implements recommendations of Client as requested.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • 10 years of relevant work experience, including experience managing other finance staff
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or similar focus; MBA/CPA a plus
  • Superior Excel skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Ability to learn quickly, open to change and enjoy the challenge of unfamiliar tasks
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and ambiguous environment; handle multiple tasks with the ability to re-prioritize and shift priorities quickly
  • Written/Oral communications - ability to speak and write clearly and concisely, get messages across that have the desired effect
  • Settlement experience with large-scale events in a stadium or concert setting of a similar size (14,000 seats) is highly desirable.
  • Frequent bending, lifting 15-20 pounds, sitting, exposure to multiple external elements, extensive walking through the building.
  • Experience with ADP payroll, and Net Suite accounting system preferred


Working Conditions

Minimal Travel (<5% travel) May be required to travel. Trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay away from home for one or more nights.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights and holidays required
