Overview
Under the supervision of the Director of Operations, this position manages and coordinates the day-to-day operations of the BOK Center, including set-up / changeovers. Provides overall administrative planning, direction, and policies to operating managers maintaining the highest quality service program to ensure client satisfaction. Assists in the development and management of annual Operations Department budget. Provides overall department management assistance to the Director of Operations.
This role will pay a salary of $60,000 to $90,000.

Responsibilities
- Assume management responsibility for all services and activities involved in changeover, ice making,and associated equipment in the Arena.
- Assist where required with maintenance including HVAC,electrical, mechanical, plumbing, chillers,refrigeration, ice making,boilers and associated equipment.
- Responsible for compliance and reporting for OSHA
- Assist where required with any housekeeping and production needs.
- Select, train, schedule, motivate and evaluate staff; provide or coordinate staff training; workwith employees to correct deficiencies; implement discipline and termination procedures.
- Plan, direct, coordinate, and review the work plan for operations; meet with staff to identify andresolve problems; assign work activities, projects, and programs; monitor workflow; review andevaluate work products, methods, and procedures.
- Participate in the development and administration of the Operations budget; forecast of additionalfunds needed for staffing, equipment, materials, and supplies.
- Oversee the set-up of events; coordinate facility arrangements with concessionaires and vendors;direct and monitor the work of contractors, engineers, and architects on building projects.
- Order supplies and materials for Operations programs within budget guidelines; receive andmaintain supplies.
- Maintain hazardous materials communication program, material safety data sheets and requiredrecords and permits; maintain knowledge of changes in pertinent Federal, State and Localregulations.
- Develop and maintain an accurate record keeping system.
- Oversee ice installation and maintenance.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree from accredited college/university in a related field (Facility Management, Engineering, Sports Management etc.)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in building maintenance/venue changeover including at least two years of supervisory responsibility.
3 plus years of managing and leading people/teams
- Familiarity with OSHA requirements.
- Previous ice maintenance and forklift driving experience is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of boilers, chillers, refrigeration, and ice making helpful.
- Ability to climb stairs and lift 50 lbs., unaided.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including, early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays,and extended number of consecutive days.
