Receptionist/Media Technician

Overview:

OakCrest Funeral Home is seeking a full-time receptionist/media technician to join our

team! The perfect applicant must have a friendly, welcoming, and professional personality

as you will be the first face and voice our client’s experience when calling and visiting our

funeral home.

Responsibilities include:

-Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and friendly manner.

-Welcome visitors in a warm and friendly manner.

-Answer any questions visitors have to the best of your ability.

-Always maintain the reception area and all public areas in a clean and tidy manner.

-Work with on-site funeral directors for upcoming funerals.

-Create program handouts, guestbooks, memorial DVD slideshows, and music for services.

-Keep service schedule up to date.

-Other duties as assigned by your manager.

Salary, Hours and Benefits:

-Salary will be hourly and compensated with experience.

-Work schedule is 8am-5pm with an hour lunch.

-This position will be Monday through Friday.

Education and Experience Requirements:

-High School diploma or equivalent

-Type a minimum of 30 WPM

-Must be familiar with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office

-Previous customer service experience preferred.
