- Job Summary
Scans incoming and outgoing Friend of the Court case related paper documents into computer imaging system. Adjusts and maintains computer scanning equipment to ensure clarity and accuracy of documents recorded. Downloads documents from State of Michigan KidStar application and imports into document management system. Indexes electronic documents, determining appropriate worker role to receive incoming information and assigning codes to route information to the appropriate worker. Enters data into state computer system for all new Friend of the Court cases filed with the Clerk's Office. Contacts attorneys and clients to obtain information missing from case files. Reviews County case dismissal reports and updates State computer system as necessary. Answers Help Desk phone line and relays messages. Greets and obtains information from walk-in Help Desk clients. Assists division personnel with computer related problems and communicates the status of system problems, incoming correspondence, and case file information. Prepares Friend of the Court paper and/or electronic case transfer files. Tracks business processes and creates and maintains spreadsheets and other reports. Utilizes current Countywide and/or department specific software to complete assignments.
- Minimum Qualifications

1. Must be a high school graduate or have a certificate of successful completion of the General Educational Development Test.
2. Have at least six (6) months of full-time experience in the installation of computer hardware, software and related peripherals, computer imaging, document scanning or clerical experience.Work History
