Oakland School District is seeking a full-time Social Emotional Coordinator (SEC) for Oakland Elementary School, grades K-4.
The person in this position is responsible for general guidance and counseling programs for elementary school students (grades K-4). The SEC is expected to assist students in their personal, academic, and social/emotional growth. The position of SEC includes assisting teachers and administrators in providing services to students, creating course schedules, and facilitating student behavior plans and will work closely with school/district behavior staff. The SEC will provide individual or small group support for students needing specific skills, and provide conflict resolution support for students.
This is a full-time position with benefits beginning August 2024.
Ability to obtain and maintain Oregon TSPC Licensure withCounseling Endorsement. Preference for those candidates with experience in Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports.

Oakland School District ison a 4 day school week.Mon-Thurs, 7:30 am-4:15 pm, 2 Fris/month for 6 hrs/day.The PERS 6% is paid by the district and offers a generous comprehensive family medical/dental/vision insurance package.
