Maintenance technicians are an important part of the Oaklawn team, keeping buildings and grounds safe and welcoming for staff, clients and visitors.

Maintenance technicians are an important part of the Oaklawn team, keeping buildings and grounds safe and welcoming for staff, clients and visitors.
This full time position includes the following primary responsibilities and physical demands:
- Completing and responding to work orders in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintaining the facilities, grounds and equipment.
- Providing routine maintenance for Oaklawn vehicles, such as checking oil and maintaining exterior, etc.
- Providing routine grounds maintenance, such as trimming, mowing, weeding, fertilizing, snow removal, etc.
- Completing work and using equipment safely following proper procedures
- Using a computer as necessary to complete jobs
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend and use tools or controls
- Frequently required to lift or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED preferred
- Previous maintenance experience highly recommended.
