Financial Analyst

Oakmont Management Group is looking for a Financial Analyst to join our team within our Headquarters in Irvine, CA.

Oakmont Management Group (OMG) is looking for a full-time Financial Analyst to be a key member of Oakmont’s growing finance organization to help develop insights about its portfolio and support growth. Oakmont develops and operates luxury assisted living and memory care communities throughout California and Nevada.

Essential Job Functions

• Support the company’s Financial Planning & Analysis and Investments functions
• Prepare property-level budgets as part of the annual budgeting process, and as new communities are developed or acquired
• Assist in the preparation of monthly reporting packages to capital partners
• Pro forma and investment returns analysis of property-level capital improvements
• Evaluation of development and acquisition opportunities, including analysis of markets, investment returns and pro forma property performance
• Develop and maintain various financial, market and other models
• Perform various ad-hoc projects and financial analysis as needed

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Engineering or a quantitative field
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail and excellence
• Advanced Excel knowledge with modeling experience
• Experience with other data tools/reporting platforms (SQL, Python, Tableau, PowerBI) a plus
• Firm understanding of key finance and economic principles
• Prior experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), investment analysis, real estate and/or senior housing is preferred
• 2-4 years relevant experience
