Global manufacturing company has an immediate opening for a Desktop Support Specialist for their Shelton, CT headquarters.
IT Responsibilities :
Provide friendly and timely solutions to tickets from local and regional users, and document the outcomes in our ticketing application, ServiceNow
Triage, L1 and L2 technical support for Incidents and Service Requests
Solve complex technical issues, Office 365 trouble shooting, Other hardware related activities
Manage User Accounts in Active Directory / I-Series (AS400)
Share knowledge with Internal and External ITCS Technicians in local and Regional Locations
Image computers and maintain our standard image
Qualifications :
2-year IT degree or equivalent experience
Desirable IT Certifications (Ex. A , Network , MCP, HDI, ITIL, etc.)
Hands-on experience with PC operations
Microsoft and MacIntosh Operating Systems proficiency
Excellent communication skills (oral / written) with a high level of customer support professionalism
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to handle multiple priorities
Strong initiative and desire to learn
Ability to effectively collaborate with team members and clients to achieve common goals
