BrightOak was born out of a community Bank that saw value in offering products specifically tailored to consumers seeking financing sources for renewable energy purchases. Through our banks own journey into a move to being better stewards of the environment, we discovered that there is also a significant financial incentive to investing in renewable energy. Through our own acquisition of solar for multiple locations, we began to become more educated on why this product makes sense for our customers. From that experience, we decided to invest in the development of an entirely new endeavor within our organization and even within the broader industry. With the backdrop of being a community bank, we knew that what we were trying to accomplish required a great deal of innovation. To achieve this, a team of industry veterans was assembled and tasked with creating products and programs that are user friendly for our contractor partners and desirable for consumers, all while having a positive impact on the community and our environment. BrightOak’s financing solutions make the purchase of a residential solar energy system affordable to homeowners across the country. BrightOak has a strong technology orientation and has developed a lending platform to efficiently deliver our financing products. BrightOak is a very fast-growing company that is revolutionizing residential solar through an innovative lending model leading to a very exciting work environment for all team members.

SUMMARY

The position of MuleSoft/Integrations Developer is responsible for developing and managing the integrations in MuleSoft between Salesforce and other open API platforms that are utilized by BrightOak. This position has the opportunity to be completely remote.

Assures compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as, all applicable state and federal banking regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Develop, design, test, troubleshoot, implement and support the integrations between open API platforms and Salesforce utilizing MuleSoft.
• Work with other developers and the technology team to support application build.
• Assist in solutioning, estimating, shaping, and documenting technical solutions.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

These specifications are general guidelines based on the minimum experience normally considered essential to the satisfactory performance of this position. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the position in a satisfactory manner. Individual abilities may result in some deviation from these guidelines.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 3 years of hands-on development experience implementing integration solutions.
• Demonstrated experience implementing multiple technical integration project SDLCs (Software Development Life Cycle) end-to-end.
• Working knowledge of on-premise infrastructure and cloud-based deployments and configurations along with monitoring and management.
• Possess excellent verbal, written, and facilitation skills to convey business and technical requirements upwards and downwards.
• Ability to multi-task and implement several integration projects/initiatives successfully.
• Integration and interface architecture experience with:
• MuleSoft or other solutions (e.g., IBM, BEA, Oracle Fusion, TIBCO, Dell Boomi, Progress Sonic, Apigee)
• API Management solutions (Apigee, Mashery, etc)
• One or more on-premise / SaaS packaged COTS (Commercial Off-the-Shelf) solutions for ERP, CRM, e-Commerce, or mobile (e.g. Salesforce.com, NetSuite, Oracle, Siebel, SAP, WorkDay, etc.)
• Demonstrated technical solutions hands-on development for on-premise and SaaS applications using JEE and JSE frameworks.
• Experience designing public and private enterprise secure services using RAML and/or REST based APIs.
• Experience with Tomcat, XML, JMS, WS-*, SOA integration, API Management technologies and standards as well as DevOps (Docker, Kubernetes) and/or Security (Ping Federate & OAUTH2 & SAML, Open AM) is a plus.
• Experience with Linux/Unix basics, SQL.
• Experience with JMS based Messaging technologies.
• Experience developing, profiling, and troubleshooting Java application code and automated testing tools
• Experience in completing technical design documentation and technical reference materials for client/internal consumption
• Current STATE driver’s license and a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage if required to drive while performing assigned duties and responsibilities.
