Position Summary:
The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for managing data, reporting, and analysis requests from start to finish, including gathering data requirements, quality assurance, pulling data from the data warehouse, analyzing it, compiling into reports, and synthesizing recommendations from the data. The BI Analyst is required to partner closely with Operations Insight Partners to ensure reporting needs are met. This requires the BI Analyst to be flexible and creative with the shifting needs of the business. The BI Analyst should also be proactive in identifying opportunities for analysis and optimization. The BI Analyst will be required to provide data/reporting regarding program performance, financial performance, and ad-hoc requests. The BI Analyst will document techniques to contribute to the team’s collection of analysis methods and will train team members and others throughout the organization on interpreting data.
I. Position Responsibilities: Essential
- Fulfill role as a liaison with customer data contacts to ensure vital data feeds are timely and compliant.
- Build and maintain metrics, attributes, and reports in the data warehouse using MicroStrategy.
- Create, design, and maintain monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc reports/dashboards for OBHG Clients.
- Analyze and identify patterns, trends, and anomalies within data and interpret for reporting.
- Work with other Analysts, Operations Team, Team Leads, and Executive Management Team to define KPI’s, create custom reports/dashboards, and resolving hospital status issues.
- Build and maintain client relationship to facilitate the exchange of data to and from the client.
- Extract, transform, and load OBHG and client data to the data warehouse.
- Conduct weekly and monthly data quality audits on all data received before loading into the data warehouse.
- Propose and prioritize changes to reporting and create additional metrics and processes based on program changes and client requirements.
- Manage the storage of data files into the OBHG secure network.
