Project Analyst
Summary: Objective Area Solutions (OAS) is seeking an experienced project analyst to join our Aviation Programs Team supporting business processes mapping and re-engineering, program management activities, and organization development for highly technical program management units in the aviation industry. As a consultant on this team, you will work with a senior member of the OAS team to develop a strategic engagement plan and will be expected to often act as the primary representative to the client.
This is a hybrid position located in the Washington, DC Metro Area.

Position Functions & Skills:
Supporting the company under the direction of the project leadership, the consultant will be expected to support a client by leveraging high-value, practical consulting support in the following areas:
- Business process mapping and re-engineering
- Project management support, including financial activities
- Relationship and client management
- Program documentation maintenance, ensuring currency and accuracy
- Documentation for technical and non-technical personnel across lines of business
- Support to program management teams, including business reviews and reporting
- Business objective analysis and solution development
- Executive coordination and support
- Communication, change management, organization development, and strategic planning support
- Support to client staff for ad-hoc project management and communications questions and inquiries
Required Education, Skills & Capabilities:
- Bachelor's degree in any field that included or was supplemented by at least 24 semester hours in any combination of the following fields: business, finance, or management
- 11 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience with small teams and as a self-starter
- Excellent verbal and written communications
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Office 365
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint
Preferred Education, Skills & Capabilities:
- Experience working in quickly growing organizations
- Experience supporting FAA clients
- Operational aviation experience
- Executive support experience (e.g., communications, process improvement, coordination)
