Job Summary
Obsidian Solutions Group (OSG) is seeking a Operator - Trainer to operate, maintain, and sustain the HICON requirements.
The Joint Readiness Training Center Operations Group provides America’s military forces and JIIM-partners relevant, rigorous, multi-echelon training in a Decisive Action to develop adaptive leaders, confident units, and robust capabilities across the range of military operations achieving Army readiness. The Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) has a requirement to provide a mobile satellite communications capability to replicate the communications infrastructure found in expected areas of operation of rotational training units.
Specific Responsibilities
- Assist the customer by operating Mission Command workstations and providing familiarization training, primarily in Command Post of the Future computer applications.
- Operating the system and resolving common error conditions, this worker diagnoses and acts on machine stoppage and error conditions not fully covered by existing procedures and guidelines (e.g., resetting switches and other controls or making mechanical adjustments to maintain or restore equipment operations).
Qualifications
- 4 - 6 year's past experience as a Computer Operator/trainer or related position.
- Proficient verbal, written, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
- Normal Office environment
Travel
- Up to 10% CONUS/OCONUS travel may be required for training and program activities.
