Job Title: Office/HR Supervisor
Reports to: General Manager
Status: Hourly Seasonal
General Summary: This is an administrative support focused position. This position will include staff recruiting and retention, in addition to some inventory, vendor relations and routing phone calls.
I. Essential Job Duties/Functions:
- Provide support to management in the administrative office.
- Responsible for employee related files for departmental personnel and the filing of all new hire paperwork, change of status paperwork, and payroll.
- Administer employee recognition programs and staff events.
- Open and distribute mail to the appropriate staff members and forward correspondence to the appropriate professional staff member.
- Answer and respond to switchboard telephone calls as well as the general delivery mailbox and greet all visitors in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner.
- Inventory, order, and maintain office supplies including fax, copy paper, mailing labels, stationary, and envelopes for the corporate office.
- Monitor email correspondence on a daily basis and forward or respond to all inquiries.
- Prepare all internal and external correspondence including letters and gift certificates as directed by the Office Manager.
- Maintain and monitor shipping supplies and orders.
- Assists with distribution of banks and counting when necessary.
- Ensures all cash handling procedures are adhered to within the vault and the departments.
- Assists in review of routine operating practices and procedures to include personnel, record keeping, performance standards, workflow and cost reduction, equipment and supply utilization to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
- Obtains, organizes and drafts technical and administrative materials for public information or organizational use.
- Provides a variety of supportive services as directed by an administrative superior.
- Other duties as assigned.
II. Other Duties/Functions
- Learn and operate all functions of the POS software used throughout the park.
- Attend staff meeting once a week and be a part of the management team that is striving to make OC Waterpark the best in the area.
- Proficient in computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other software as necessary.
III. Educational Requirements: (or equivalent experience)
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Some college preferred.
- Some experience in clerical support of office environment
V. Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work extended hours when necessary.
- Ability to walk, stand, push, pull, bend, reach overhead, and execute repetitive motions 60% of the scheduled shift.
- Ability to lift 10-20lbs. occasionally during a scheduled shift.
