The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing our inventory needs, including negotiating contracts and establishing supplier relationships. Compensation:$41,600 - $55,000 yearly
Responsibilities:- Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers to improve the company’s competitiveness and profitability.
- Maintain accurate records of all purchased items and suppliers.
- Monitor and analyze market trends to identify pricing opportunities and new products.
- Analyze inventory levels and manage stock levels to ensure the availability of products.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs and increase the efficiency of the purchasing process.
- Responsible for Shipping and receiving.
- Some online sales through eBay and other Marketplaces.
- Basic HR functions such as time entry and commission entry.
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Accounting, Business Administration, or other related field
- At least 3 years of experience in purchasing or related role
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in QuickBooks and other accounting software
- Highly organized with strong data entry proficiency
