HIRING ASSISTANT MANAGER / CELL PHONE REPAIR TECH in La Habra/Brea Area
JOB DESCRIPTION: We are looking for an awesome individual to join our fun and friendly team, This is a great FULL TIME position for the right person. You do not need to be an expert in everything tech but must have at least 1 year of experience working with electronics – you need to have a good working knowledge of computers, phones, tablets, etc. As long as you are tech-savvy and love technology, we will teach you the rest. We are looking for someone trustworthy, hardworking, and friendly.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
1.) QUICKLY test the basic functions of smartphones (iPhones, Android, etc), tablets, computers (APPLE and PC), networking gear, etc – as long as you are tech-savvy and have a good foundation, we will teach you the details!
2.) Perform BASIC REPAIRS, including - replacing screens and batteries for phones and tablets, diagnosing the devices, assist the head tech with any needs. Basic computer/laptop repair knowledge: installing Operating Systems, RAM, Hard Drives, removing passwords, clearing memory, installing drivers, data backup and formats, etc.
3.) Handling CUSTOMER SERVICE tasks including meeting and greeting customers, checking customers in / out, answering questions, etc.
4.) Have the ability to SELL the customer additional produts and services,
5.) Must be able to lift 50lbs and keep a clean organized work space while at work
6.) Be able to think on your feet and be a good problem solver that delivers great customer experiences
7.) Manage inventory, reduce costs, order supplies and increase store revenue.
