What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crew Labor Supervisor position at Occupational Training Center?
Under the direction of the Director of Government Contracts, supervises the daily operations of the clients designated from the workshop program to execute the County Litter program, maintain notes on a daily basis of times of work, travel information and daily work reports. Enter information in the daily log for DDD billing.
- Provide ongoing supervision of staff and oversee the daily operations to insure that programming meets the standards and expectations of the OTC and the State Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD).
- Oversee the proper administration of medication, including compliance with all procedures and recordkeeping.
- Records and monitor daily attendance records, center logs and other information as required.
- Obtain and maintain contracts to ensure that individuals served are fully employed. Manage contract dollars and work crews to ensure that consumer payrolls are met. Follow-up with contractor for quality control.
- Maintain up to date program schedules .
- Review consumer Daily Training Records to insure that staff complies with DDD procedures and that paperwork is maintained properly.
- Handle all transportation matters, and emergencies that may arise, in a safe and professional manner and in accordance with all OTC and DDD policies and procedures. Responsible for ensuring proper notifications, as required under Danielle’s Law, in the case of medical emergencies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent or 1-3 years supervisory experience.
- Minimum age required eighteen (18).
- The successful completion of all DDD required training as defined in the DDD SE/DP Manual and compliance with all applicable standards as set forth in the manual upon the date of hire.
- Acceptable background check and Drug Testing.
- Valid driver license with acceptable driving record.
- Duties include bending and lifting.
