15-Year-Old Food and Beverage Cashier

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive payment by cash, credit cards, gift cards or vouchers
- Proper handling, storage, and organization of all receipts
- Upselling products to offer the best experience at the park
- Excellent cash handling skills, so that the transaction can be fast, friendly, and fun
- Maintain product levels at assigned station; this includes chips, straws, condiments, cutlery, napkins and more
- Follow opening & closing procedures in assigned outlets, maintaining cleanliness standards
- Prepare quick service food and beverage items
- Expedite prepared orders from the kitchen to the customer
- Monitor and expedite mobile orders
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment for customers and team members
- Wash dishes following sanitation guidelines
- Provide superior customer service to all customers in a polite, enthusiastic, and expedient manner
- Assist customers with questions regarding Ocean Breeze Waterpark
- Follow Park policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 15 years of age
- Ability to count money and make correct change
- Ability to operate a computer and computer software programs
- Ability to accept guidance and supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members and leadership
- Be aware, attentive, and work well with others
- Ability to work in indoor and shaded outdoor weather conditions while taking precautions, including hydration and sun-protection
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift, carry, move and/ or position items weighing up to 25 pounds
We also offer a retention bonus of up to $500 for team members that average a certain number of hours per week during the qualifying time period and work through a specified date. Details about eligibility requirements for the Retention Bonus will be provided at a later date.
