The Opportunity :

Ocean Dermatology is a fast paced, fast growing private practice looking for an experienced medical assistant to join our Jackson, NJ team.

Youre your typical day will include :

• Performing a variety of clinical tasks, including taking patient histories, documenting medical information, preparing and assisting with dermatological procedures, and providing wound care.
• Preparing examination rooms, sanitize medical instruments, and maintain a clean and organized clinical workspace
• Ensuring accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR), following HIPAA guidelines and maintaining patient confidentiality
• Educating patients on treatment plans, skincare routines, and post-procedure care instructions.
• Collaborating closely with the healthcare team to optimize patient flow, enhance clinic efficiency, and support positive patient outcomes

Your skills and qualifications will include :

• High school diploma or equivalent; Certification as a Medical Assistant is highly desirable
• Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in a dermatology clinic or similar setting, demonstrating a strong understanding of dermatological procedures, conditions, and treatment
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and other relevant medical software
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, effectively multitasking and prioritizing responsibilities
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational abilities, and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality
