Position Summary
The US Commissioning Engineer is responsible for the installation commissioning of new Autonomous Guided Vehicle (AGV) systems and technical service support at both our production facilities and our customer sites worldwide. This includes testing the vehicles inhouse, installing the complete systems at customer sites, installing/updating the software, commission the vehicles and ensuring the complete systems will work to satisfaction of all stakeholders. The work will be closed out by training the customer and handing over the operational systems to its end-users.
The Commissioning Engineer can also be requested to support our other services required such as maintaining our operational install base. The engineer applies his/hers electrical, mechanical and software skills to troubleshoot and determine the root cause of issues, and subsequently develop and implement solutions to the issues at hand. Support also includes remote and onsite implementation of fixes, changes and testing as needed to support the Oceaneering Hotline Helpdesk and Service Agreements for existing customers.

This position is Hybrid - Remote and will require commuting to a designated office. Hybrid work schedules are determined by the hiring manager based on business need.
