Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The Behavior Technician will work with children by implementing behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in providing support to children with behavioral challenges. Your dedication will help improve the lives of the families you work with.
Responsibilities:
· Communicate and interact efficiently with clients, families, and team member
· Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA
· Provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to individuals
· Collect and record data on observable client behavior
· Assist in conducting functional assessments and diagnostic evaluations
· Collaborate with the BCBA to develop treatment goals and interventions
· Support clients in skill development and behavior management techniques
· Demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and patience while delivering ABA therapy services
· Adhere to ethical guidelines and legal requirements
Please not this position requires a high level of responsibility, as you will be working closely with children who may exhibit challenging behavior. Prior experience or training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is preferred, but not required. We provide comprehensive training to ensure you have the skills necessary to succeed in this role.
Preferred Skills:
· Experience working with children or individuals with special needs
· Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
· Proficiency in data collection and analysis for tracking progress
· Ability to follow and implement treatment plans effectively
· Understanding of documentation procedures for accurate record keeping

Requirements:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
· Pass a criminal background check and clearances as required by state regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
· Prior experience working with individual with disabilities or in the field of ABA
· Graduates or current students in a related field such as psychology, special education, or behavioral analysis
· Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is highly encouraged
· Experience as a Childcare Worker, Direct Service Professional (DSP), RBT, Behavior Therapist, Especial Education
Spanish speaking is preferred as many of the families we work with are Spanish speaking
The position level and pay rate are determined by individual experience and education
