Oceans Healthcare is seeking a dedicated, compassionate individual to lead its new behavioral health hospital in Lubbock, TX. We are seeking a dynamic Behavioral Health Executive with a proven track record of providing services in a for profit Behavioral Health Hospital setting.
The ideal Chief Executive Officer (CEO)/Hospital Administrator candidate will be responsible for directing the day-to-day operations, managing and developing staff, assuring high quality care, sound fiscal operations, maintaining a strong referral base and compliance with Joint Commission and CMS regulations while continually monitoring the facility's services and delivery systems.

Hospital Administrator / CEO Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all day-to-day operations of the Hospital. This position is accountable for planning, organizing, and directing the hospital to ensure that quality patient care is provided and that the financial integrity of the hospital is maintained.
- Managing the ongoing functions of the Hospital by recruiting, employing, and directing adequate numbers of appropriate trained professional and auxiliary personnel, including delegating duties appropriately;
- Reviews and approves all financial reports, budgets, managed care contracts and major expenditures; directs, establishes, reviews, and adjusts charges for services; and maintains accreditation and licensure standards of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospital Organizations, Medicare, Medicaid, state licensure, regulatory agencies, and similar organizations.
- Determine which care, treatment or services are provided directly and which are provided through consultation, contract or other agreement.
- Assures that leadership assesses patient flow issues within the hospital, the impact on patient safety and mitigation of that impact.
- Continues to build solid, effective relationships with appropriate partners, payors, businesses, customers, and the community at large.
- Demonstrate a high level of market acumen, build in market relationships, actively build physician network.
Hospital Administrator / CEO Requirements
Must possess one of the following:
- Master's Degree and at least three years of full-time experience in progressively responsible management positions in healthcare or;
- Bachelor’s Degree and at least five years of full-time experience in progressively responsible management positions in healthcare or;
- Ten years of full-time experience in hospital administration.
