Local Area Network Support Technician
OCM BOCES has two full-time Local Area Network Technician positions. Duties include installation, troubleshooting/repair, and upgrade of PCs, notebook computers, tablets, and other Local Area Network clients, equipment and software. Knowledge of servers and communications equipment such as routers, hubs, switches, and wiring a plus. Travel to school districts in the Upstate NY area required. This is a provisional appointment to competitive Civil Service position. Continued employment will be contingent on successfully passing the required examination and being reachable on the LAN Technician eligibility list.
