The Tableau Software Integration Engineer (SIE) is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions which coordinate applications across the cloud enterprise enabling and maintaining high-quality processes. The SIE is responsible to integrate and verify commercial software products and functions. They evaluate existing components or systems to determine integration requirements and ensure that the final solutions meet organizational needs. The SIE supports the program with software product integration onto the AWS cloud, supports system testing, maintains software version control, and product regression testing.

Program Mission...
Our Data Visualization team will provide and sustain our customer's data visualization capability. This capability will support users' ability to conduct data visualization related tasks. CIO is currently using the Tableau Software to deliver a Data Visualization Tool to customer users. Our customer is looking to maintain the current environment as well as provide timely updates as new software is released.

Responsibilities...
Under this effort, the Government desires the vendor maintain and improve the DIA’s Data Visualization capability to ensure we provide the agency an updated data visualization software with limited assistance from CIO Responsibilities:- Install/configure software on cloud servers
- Day-to-day operations to maintain
- Perform patches
- Ensure the capability functions optimally 24/7
- Troubleshooting and responding to user issues
- Ensuring failover functions are properly configured and optimized for confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all tools.
- Upgrade the capability for the newest release
- Follow change management process to ensure all configuration management changes are approved
Required Skills:
- Must have Active Security Cert

Candidate should have familiarity with Risk Management Framework, STIGs, and Information System security processes.

Recognize processes and information requirements to ensure compliance of applications and cloud environment with the NIST Cyber Security Framework

Experience developing and working extensively with Tableau

Creating visualizations for the data extracted with the help of Tableau

Identifying patterns and meaningful insights from data by analyzing it

Designing dashboards
- Managing Tableau Server
Desired Skills:
- Managing big data
- Twisting SQL queries for improving performances
- Examining glitches in business processes and resolving them
- Finding the key areas of automation to make the business processes smooth
- Developing reference documents or reports for the finalized project
- Integrate Tableau with AWS services
- Experience testing products to ensure proper operations to meet the needs of the program.
Years of Experience: 20 years experience. 4 years of experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree or 6 years for a masters degree
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related technical field (preferred)
