Program Mission…
Our customer’s requirement has acquired an integrated commercial solution requiring a moderate level of customization that will support the contract acquisition lifecycle and provide a unified set of tools to make it’s enterprise acquisition process more simple, modern and efficient. The vision of is to enhance acquisitions and operational excellence by delivering a modern, efficient, enterprise solution. The solution seeks and provides the creation of an end-to-end acquisition management solution that supports the functionality identified in the process flows and accomplishes the requirements set forth in a Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) (including requirements definition, acquisition planning, synopsis and solicitation, source selection, award, contract administration and contract closeout). It is also seeking a provider (our current team) to meet evolving requirements, leveraging COTS and configuration over customization, and where appropriate, use agile best practices in software delivery and development including, but not limited to, human-centered design, and with an extensible infrastructure and robust communication between the provider and project team. The project also seeks to continue transitioning users from legacy acquisition systems to fulfill our customer’s goals of modernizing and consolidating it’s IT acquisition footprint and realizing cost savings from sunsetting legacy systems.
