Job Summary
The Property Manager is accountable for the marketing and leasing of all Company properties. You strive to keep properties appealing to current and future residents in order to guarantee retention and 100% occupancy. The ideal candidate should have a natural fascination for sales and marketing strategies. Innovation, creativity, and implementation will be your keys to success. You must be an effective communicator and manager of resources, including people.
Salary will depend on the experience and cultural fit of the candidate.
Responsibilities
- Create marketing strategies, both online and offline
- Oversee the Company website and content
- Ensure properties are being leased and advertised efficiently
- Provide concierge customer service to residents
- Create and implement a Company schedule for social media marketing
- Assess and respond to social media reviews and comments
- Execute the Marketing Calendar efficiently and accurately
- Train, manage and assess the work of Leasing Agents and Assistants
- Perform tours of available properties to prospective residents
- Create relationships with outside vendors and ODU organizations
- Work with the Maintenance Department to improve curb appeal
- Recommend competitive rental rate to grow Company revenue
Success Factors
Education
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Post-Secondary Education, preferred
- CPM certification, a plus
Qualifications
- 8 year work history in property management or marketing
- Expert in MS Office, emphasis on Excel, and general computer knowledge
- Exceptional time management, communication, and analytical skills
- Highly organized, concise and ability to perform well under stress
- High-spirited and enthusiastic around others
- Strong ability to market and close deals
- Valid Driver's License and operating vehicle

Pay: $50,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
