Operations Manager

• Leads, implements, coordinates best practices, technology enhancements, cost effective operational solutions, start-up, transfers, continuous improvement and
  account projects.
• Maximizes productivity, quality, and service throughout operations by utilizing best practice techniques in the areas of facilities layout, methods, material handling concepts, technological enhancements, and measurements.
• Creates, coordinates, monitors and reports on, business plan objectives vs actual results and reports to Senior Management and/or clients as required.
• Enables front-line leaders to grow and develop associates and develops an eye for talent and attracts and retains talent.
• Ensures safety and efficiency throughout the operation according to customer and employer procedures.
• Conducts start-up meetings, weekly walk-around reporting, project teams and training.
• Delights and responds to customer inquiries and serves as the continuous and professional point of contact for customer relations. Heavily involved in business
  development and contracts.
• Leads and drives corporate culture and initiatives through hands-on interactions with all associates.
• Auhorizes and monitors operational expenditures.

Education and Experience

• 5 years management/supervisor experience
• College Degree preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Expert in Warehouse Management Systems
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills; ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients,
  managers, teammates, and prospective customers.
• Hands on and have previous experience with staff development, facility layout,
  and inventory management.
• Strong analytical abilities coupled with superior team building skills.
  Experience with multi-shift operations.
• Must possess a high energy level and the drive to implement change.
  Prior P & L exposure and ability to manage it.
• Ability to coordinate best practices and implement system wide.
