As a full-time Medical Director, you will oversee the provision of professional services within the company's psychiatric treatment facilities. Your role encompasses administrative duties, supervision of providers and mid-level staff, and the delivery of telehealth and in-person services across all levels of care. This entails on-call coverage one weekend per month and two weekdays per week, ensuring prompt availability and participation in regulatory reviews, utilization reviews, and audits. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate medical records, facilitating telehealth sessions from a designated home office, and supporting physician recruitment and onboarding efforts.
Furthermore, as the Medical Director, you will play a crucial role in upholding clinical standards, fostering a culture of excellence, and promoting the company's services through various channels, including social media. Your leadership will extend to providing supervision to medical staff at local treatment locations and actively participating in the growth and development of the organization's healthcare team. Must be Board Certified/Licensed in Michigan. Possesses working knowledge of psychotherapy, psychopathology, diagnostic assessment and related treatment interventions. Knowledge of evidence-based treatments and ability to individualize treatment approaches to meet each client's needs. Must be able to conceptualize and implement master treatment plan with fully developed problems, objectives and goals and monitor other clinicians to do the same.
