Child Care Center Director

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Child Care Director to oversee the operations of our child care center. The Child Care Director will be responsible for managing the daily activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment, and promoting the educational development of the children in our care. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities to promote the intellectual, social, and emotional growth of children - Supervise and support teaching staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities - Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations and maintain accurate records - Collaborate with parents to address their concerns, provide updates on their child's progress, and foster a positive relationship - Manage the center's budget, including monitoring expenses and revenue generation - Oversee enrollment procedures, including conducting tours for prospective families and maintaining accurate enrollment records - Maintain a safe environment by implementing health and safety protocols, conducting regular inspections, and addressing any issues promptly - Foster a positive work culture by promoting teamwork, open communication, and professional growth opportunities for staff Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (required) - Previous experience working with children in an educational setting - Experience in education administration or leadership role preferred - Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff members We offer competitive compensation packages including salary commensurate with experience.
