Position Description
Are you passionate about community engagement and building positive relationships? We are actively seeking a dedicated Entry Level Community Relations Associate to play a crucial role in our community outreach initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between the organization and the community, establishing and nurturing positive relationships.
- Attend community events, meetings, and gatherings to promote awareness and understanding of our initiatives.
- Effectively communicate the organization's values, goals, and services to community members.
- Engage in outreach activities, both in-person and through various communication channels, to connect with the community.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with local community leaders, organizations, and residents.
- Maintain accurate records of community interactions, feedback, and demographic information.
- Provide regular reports on community engagement activities.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance understanding of the organization's mission and community relations strategies.
- Contribute insights and ideas during team meetings to continually improve community engagement efforts.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Some college coursework in communication, community relations, or related fields is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
- Approachable and able to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Empathy and active listening skills.
- Proactive and self-driven, with a willingness to take on new challenges.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and adjusting to evolving community needs.
- Openness to learning and growing in the role.
Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 to $60,000.00 per YEAR
