Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting A/P and A/R professional to join our team at our facility located in Sayreville, NJ, 08872. As an Accounting A/P and A/R, you will be responsible for managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions. Proficiency in accounting software, particularly SAP and Quickbooks, is essential for this role.
Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure invoices, payments, and receipts are recorded and reconciled in a timely manner.
- Verify and reconcile discrepancies in financial documents and reports.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and records.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any billing or payment issues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor and customer records.
- Assist with financial audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Stay updated with accounting regulations and best practices.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable roles.
- Proficiency in using accounting software, particularly SAP and Quickbooks.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
