OEM Medical Solutions, LLC is looking to hire dependable, Maryland-based Truck Drivers to join our growing Relocation team.
OEM provides highly professional, white glove service for healthcare customers, including hospitals, surgery centers, and medical/dental offices in the Mid-Atlantic area. The Relocation team is growing, and we need exceptional candidates to join us to continue this growth trajectory.
The Truck Driver position works in collaboration with other OEM Medical Solutions team members to service healthcare facilities on various Relocation projects. This position utilizes the company's 26ft box trucks, cargo vans, and transit vans. Responsibilities include physically moving, transporting, assembling, and disassembling medical equipment and furniture. Work involves physical lifting and the safe use of equipment such as dollies, racks, lifts, and carts to perform duties. Scheduled start and end times may vary based on project scope or customer request; however, work hours are typically Monday thru Friday, within 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM timeframes.
Responsibilities
- Drive OEM delivery trucks and vans from facility to facility.
- Load and unload trucks and vans, moving medical equipment, furniture, raw materials, and moving supplies.
- Transfer, disassemble, de-install, install, clean, and repair furniture and medical equipment.
- Assist with inventory of medical equipment, parts, and supplies.
- Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining OEM's white glove service standard.
- Collect appropriate paperwork and tracking information while on-site.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Prioritize safety in any environment at all times.
- Execute work required, by following and ensuring healthcare laws and customer expectations.
Requirements
- 1 years moving, trucking, or warehouse experience.
- DOT Certification.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Confident working in a fast-paced environment.
- Organized and professional communication methods.
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
- Ability to remain professional and courteous with customers and colleagues at all times.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Maintain good hygiene and professionalism at all times.
Preferred Qualifications
- CDL Class B license.
- Management experience.
- Inventory experience.
- Medical equipment/supplies knowledge.
- Competency with computers and asset management tools.
