Quality Coordinator (1st Shift) in Geneva, IL

We are looking for a Quality Coordinator for our facility. In this role you will provide leadership and a hands on approach to problem-solving to ensure customers are fully satisfied with the company’s service.

The Quality Coordinator will report to the Quality Manager and maintain the quality system within the Brunswick service center.

Your Responsibilities:

• Conduct monthly Quality Circle Meetings to help find and resolve quality issues through root cause analysis and problem solving processes (PSP) and help with continuous improvement activities
• Conduct quality audits as prescribed by the local quality registration (ISO9001)
• Train employees in proper handling, recording of customer complaints and internal failures
• Participate in the disposition of non-conforming product as required
• Communicate with the customers regarding Quality issues
• Facilitate local quality-planning and development of work instructions for customer-specific requirements.
• Provide training and support to employees on all quality concerns and customer complaints
• Cross-train into various departments within the production facility

Your Profile:

• Associates Degree preferably in Quality or Material Science (equivalent experience may substitute)
• 2 years of experience in a quality role within a manufacturing and/or production environment
• 1 year of experience implementing and executing ISO 9001:2015 standard is required
• Experience using MS Office (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access) is required
• Ability to effectively use of problem-solving tools such as Pareto charts, run and control charts, cause and effect diagrams as well as 8D (or a similar problem solving discipline).

Pay: $49,720.00 - $74,500.00 per year
