What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technician 1 - 2nd shift position at Oerlikon?
We are looking for a Technician 1 for our Wixom, Michigan facility. In this role you will operate and daily checks equipment to Standards including coating, degassing, cleaning, blasting and stripping equipment. To be fully trained in Safety areas including PPE, Hazardous Materials, etc.

Your Responsibilities:
- Basic Incoming and Outgoing activity (included demag, open packages, inspect tools properly, rack tools, load and unload cleaning line, answer phone calls when needed)
- Operate Blow holes machine
- Post treatments (brushing and topping)
- Keep 5S on track
- Basic weasy operation (post operations and checking orders)
- Fixturing tools for PVD batches(prepare the batches according to standard)
- De-fixture Load
- Perform fixtures maintenance according with the Standards
- Clean, and store used fixtures (keeping them under properly maintenance)
- Read and fill in task log as needed (PCC’s or batch information)
- Operate, daily checks and Changeover Stripping system
- Operate, daily checks and Changeover Blasting Machine (pre and post treatment processes)
- Support service tech when requested
- Maintain 5S on machine 1200 vessel
- Maintain 5S of Batch exchange cart
- 5 S cleaning line
- 5 S blasting machine
- 5 S fixture area
- 5 S on target shelf organizing of target weights
- Follow at all the time the 5 Golden Rules
Your Profile:

- Successfully completed the relevant training modules as defined by BTS
- Following the Standards at all times, with NO shortcuts allowed for any reason!
