Attorney General Andrea Joy Campbell is looking for a highly motivated attorney with extensive prosecutorial experience to join her management team as the Deputy Division Chief of the Insurance & Unemployment Fraud Division within the Criminal Bureau.

The Insurance & Unemployment Fraud Division investigates and prosecutes complex insurance and unemployment fraud cases, including violations of M.G.L. c. 152, M.G.L. c. 151A, and M.G.L. c. 175H, and other illegal activity, such as larceny, conspiracy, and money laundering. The Division is staffed by a group of experienced prosecutors and financial investigators who partner with Massachusetts State Police troopers assigned to the Attorney General’s Office, and local, state, and federal investigative and enforcement agencies.

Primary Duties: The Deputy Division Chief will assist the Division Chief with managing the Division’s Assistant Attorneys General, investigators, and support staff located in Boston. The Deputy Division Chief will also handle his or her own caseload of primarily white-collar-fraud-related matters, from investigation through sentencing. The work involves extensive collaboration with law enforcement agencies, grand jury investigations throughout the Commonwealth, complex motion practice, and frequent appearances before the Commonwealth’s District and Superior Courts for motions, pleas, and trials. The Deputy Division Chief is expected to communicate effectively and efficiently with numerous outside agencies, and to maintain and foster those working relationships.
