The Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) whose mission is to enhance the fiscal and financial stability, accountability and integrity of the Government of the District of Columbia is in search of a Communication Specialist (Term). This position is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Office of Tax and Revenue (OTR), Office of the Deputy Chief Financial Officer.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Assisting the Public Affairs Specialist with performing a variety of tasks
• Providing internal and external communication services such as serving as a writer, copy editor and researcher of various documents such as brochures, pamphlets, and internal websites and social media platforms
• Performing other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications: Two (2) years of progressive experience to include editing, writing, and researching various documents such as brochures, pamphlets, and internal and external websites; knowledge of visual design and display; and MS Office Suite. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
