IT Asset Management Specialist

The Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) whose mission is to enhance the fiscal and financial stability, accountability and integrity of the Government of the District of Columbia is in search of an IT Asset Management Specialist. This position is in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). The incumbent serves as the OCIOs information technology asset management specialist responsible for overseeing the receipt, disposition, tracking, refresh, and retirement and/or disposal of all IT assets for the duration of their lifecycle.
Duties include, but are limited to:
Minimum Qualifications: Four (4) years of progressive experience performing the related duties and responsibilities such as overseeing the asset management full life cycle process; monitoring and tracking IT equipment and inventory; maintaining IT data within an asset management database; preparing and analyzing reports; and making recommendations for process improvements. CHAMP or CSAM certification highly desired. Incumbent must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. independently.
