AAP Compliance Counsel

Our Firm has an opportunity for an attorney to join the firm’s expanding affirmative action and OFCCP compliance practice and assume a major role ensuring compliance with related laws and regulations, as well as supervising non-attorney analysts with the preparation of affirmative action programs (AAPs) and reports required of federal contractors.  The Candidate will have a flexible part-time schedule with the ability to work remotely.  Opportunities for a full-time position with benefits may be available. A writing sample is required in order to be considered for this role.

• Juris Doctor – Qualified candidates must be and remain licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of employment. During employment, must meet requirements for continuing licensure for law practice.
• Candidates must possess 2 years of labor and employment advice & counsel or litigation experience.
• Prior experience with preparing AAPs and/or knowledge of federal contractor affirmative action compliance obligations is strongly preferred.
• Strong academic credentials are required.  
• Superior analytical and writing skills required.  
• Candidate should have a proven record of attention to detail and be technology oriented.
• Proficiency in Excel is required. 
• Knowledge of statistical concepts is preferred.
• Candidate must have proven ability to work on a team where co-workers and staff may be located in different offices.
• Candidate must have proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
• There is no billable hour requirement for this role, although we anticipate the need for the Candidate to bill between 20-30 hours per week.

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary range for this Colorado position is between $110,000 and $162,500. In accordance with New York City’s Wage Transparency Law, the expected salary range for this New York City position is between $110,000 and $162,500. In accordance with California’s amended labor code as stated in Senate Bill 1162, the expected salary range for this California position is between $110,000 and $162,500. In accordance with the Washington Equal Pay and Opportunities act, the expected salary range for this Washington position is between $110,000 and $162,500 .  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law.
