The Bridge Assisted Living, professionally managed by Ohana Ventures, is a premier senior living community seeking a full-time Activities Assistant to join our team. Activities Assistant is responsible for providing daily activities to residents as outlined on the monthly calendar, accompanying residents on outings, and coordinating resident events. Seeking high energy and self-motivated individual to assist in the program.
Activities Assistant Responsibilities:
· Assist in the development of an activity program to address all resident psychosocial and spiritual needs.
· Plans parties, provides games, entertainment, and encourages residents to assist in the planning, such as making decorations, wrapping gifts, crafts, etc.
· Initiates and promotes activities both within the facility and out in the community to stimulate and promote residents’ interest and well-being.
· Documents significant information in the resident record and in the facility communication system as needed.
· Encourage intellectual/educational development through literature, lectures, movies, and cultural events.
· Maintains a record of resident activities.
· Is responsible for the appearance of the activity area
· Incorporates choice, dignity, independence, individuality, and privacy into job performance daily. Encourages staff to uphold the same principles.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.50 per hour
