Position Overview:
We are in search of a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Analyst who is well-versed in accounting to support our financial operations. This role involves managing bookkeeping, assisting with the monthly closing of company books, and running ongoing analyses to gain insights into our business lines and operations to optimize our growth. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in Excel, experienced with QuickBooks Advanced, a self-starter, adaptable, and eager to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
- Accounts Receivable (AR): Oversee invoicing, track receivables, and ensure timely collection of payments.
- Accounts Payable (AP): Manage vendor invoices, process payments, and reconcile accounts.
- Monthly Close: Assist in closing the monthly books, ensuring all financial data is accurate and complete.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic planning.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets and forecasts, providing insights into financial performance.
- Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports and statements, highlighting key metrics and trends.
- Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to gather financial data and ensure accurate reporting.
- Process Improvement: Identify and recommend improvements to financial processes and systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation is a plus

- Strong accounting skills with hands-on experience in bookkeeping and monthly close processes
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online Advanced is required
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- Exceptional attention to detail with a thorough approach to financial analysis and reporting; you know how to connect the dots
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Adaptable and proactive, with a strong desire to learn and grow within the company
- Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods industry a plus
