JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:
The service coordinator will be deeply involved in the work order process including opening work order headers and segments in Karmak, technician time entry into Karmak, receiving and entering technician service reports into Karmak, scheduling PDI work, Having LPOs assigned, filing to history files, entering warranty/PDI information in Paccar System, coordination, follow-up and communication with Techs, Parts dept. and the corp. sales team, as well as clerical work such as payroll and scheduling.
COMPETENCIES:
Typing and keyboarding skills of at least 60 wpm accurately, computer skills including MS Word and Excel, organizational skills, and ability to interact with multiple branches and company department personnel including sales, service, rental, parts, warranty, and credit. An ability to balance multiple tasks and learn multiple computer-based applications. Must have good decision making and a strong desire for follow-up and attention to detail. Excellent customer service skills are required.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma/GED
Prior experience in a service department is preferred but not required.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and have an excellent teamwork ethic.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard, and to verbally communicate to exchange information. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
