What are the responsibilities and job description for the Utility Oakwood position at Ohio CAT?
JOB SUMMARY:
This position will require the ability to load and unload equipment safely off and onto trucks and trailers, wash equipment, check/inspect and communicate any damages when equipment is brought back. Perform minor repair/inspections and PM Services on the equipment, work in all-weather types, have great organizational and communication skills, and ability to work with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
COMPETENCIES:
General technical service skills, mechanical aptitude, or experience with construction or power equipment required, Must be organized, self-motivated, and able to work without direct supervision and work Flex/Shift hours. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Some computer and software skills are required.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
High school graduate minimum, College and/or continued education in a technical field a plus. Experience related to construction or power equipment service and repair is required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Lifting/Carrying 40 lb. Lift/Carry and 50lb pulling
Standing/Sitting Up and downstairs, standing, sitting, and climbing into machines
Dexterity Normal
Repetitive Motions Frequent movement requiring hands, wrists, and fingers
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
